Sonargraph-Build

Once you have created a quality model with Sonargraph-Architect you can check your code during the CI build using Sonargraph-Build. A quality model is a combination of metric thresholds, architecture rules, custom rules and more. The model is stored in the Sonargraph system folder, which should ideally be located at the root of your version control repository. By defining a fail set in your build configuration you can fail the build on very specific, customizable conditions. E.g. when a package cycle has been added or when new architecture violations are found.

Sonargraph-Build can be called directly from any shell script and also has plugins and integrations for the following build and quality tools:

  • Maven
  • Gradle
  • Ant
  • Jenkins
  • SonarQube

Sonargraph-Build licenses are always floating licenses. Each license comes with two executors (i.e. floating licenses). So a single build license allows for two parallel exceutions of Sonargraph-Build.
