The data you save on this site to obtain license keys or other information from us is protected by us. We will only use them internally for business and support purposes related to our products and services. The details are described below. Should you have questions please write an email to us.

Details about how we are using your data

With this statement on data protection measures, we therefore want to provide you with information on the types of data that we may collect and how we use that data. As a visitor to our website, you will remain anonymous as long as you are not logged in into your account. The data we store and analyze is used for statistical purposes only, for instance to ensure the continuous improvement of our services. The data we store on our servers comprises the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you visited us, the hello2morrow pages you have looked up, your IP address and the date and duration of your visit.

Collection, processing and use of personal data

We only collect and process personal data (name, address, phone number, email address, encrypted password and information about your preferences) if you make use of specific services and we therefore require your data or if you have voluntarily given us your express consent. You may do so, for instance, as part of a registration procedure, by completing a form or by sending an e-mail, ordering products or services, sending us a query or requesting materials or by visiting us on a conference or exhibition. Unless we are subject to other legal commitments, we only use your personal data for the purposes for which you have given your consent. We do not collect any payment data, because the payment process is handled by a third company. Your personal data will only be shared by us with third parties if that is required in order to provide a service you have requested or if you have given your consent.

License checks and software downloads

Our products, among them Sonargraph, ArcTree and Zügel, contact our license server at www.hello2morrow.com to validate your license key and to hand out and return license tickets. Each such request transmits the license key, the product name, version and build date, the operating system name and version, the user name you are logged in with on your computer and the network hardware (MAC) addresses of your computer. Our server also records the IP address the request comes from and the country derived from it, and the date and time of the request. If your organisation runs its own on-premises license server, these requests go to that server instead and do not reach us.

The Zügel launcher additionally requests files from our version repository at eclipse.hello2morrow.com each time it starts, to find and download new versions of the Zügel MCP server. These requests are logged like visits to this website.

We use this data only to enforce the terms of your license (for instance the number of concurrent users of a floating license), to detect misuse of license keys, and to answer your support requests. The legal basis is the performance of your license contract and our legitimate interest in preventing unlicensed use (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We do not share the data with third parties and do not use it for marketing.

A license ticket is deleted once it has been returned or has expired: a floating-license ticket after its short lease, any other ticket when the license itself ends. The log of license requests is kept for two years and then deleted.

Evaluation licenses without registration

ArcTree and Zügel can start an evaluation without you registering: when they find no license, they send the network hardware (MAC) addresses of your computer to www.hello2morrow.com and receive an activation code for an evaluation license (15 days for ArcTree, 30 days for Zügel). We store these MAC addresses, the evaluation's license contract and the country derived from the IP address of the request, so that a computer can evaluate each product only once. A computer is recognised as long as at least one of its MAC addresses is unchanged.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering an evaluation without registration while preventing its repeated use (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). After one year we delete the stored MAC addresses together with the evaluation's license contract and its license tickets and license requests. You can ask us to delete them earlier by writing an email to us.

Our products analyse your source code locally on your computer. Neither license checks nor downloads ever transmit source code, architecture models or analysis results.

Data retention

We store data as required by legal obligation or for the period of time that is required to provide a service you have requested or as agreed in applicable consent. If you register on our website we will store your data until you request that we delete your account. We also might delete your account if there has not been used for a longer period of time.

Right to review, correct and object

You are entitled to review and correct any of your personal data we have stored by following the "Account / Your Account" link on our website. You may also withdraw your consent to the use of your data at any time, affecting all future use. All you need to do is to send an e-mail to us.

Data protection and security

Our employees involved in data processing are obliged to confidentiality in the use of personal data. Our data protection measures are continually updated, reflecting technical developments.

Data Privacy Disclaimer for Social Media

Social media links are integrated on certain webpages of our website, e.g. links to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and/or Youtube. The links are identified by the logo of the social platform. Clicking on those links in your browser will create a direct connection to the respective social media provider server. At the same time Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and/or Google will know that the respective page on our website has been visited. If you are registered and have logged in with the provider concerned, your visit can also be assigned to your user account. Social media provider such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Youtube do not provide specific information about which data is transmitted in the use of their social plugins. We therefore have no knowledge regarding the content and scope of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Youtube. Please refer to the further information about this in the data protection regulations of the social media service. If you do not wish a provider to collect data on you through our website, please do not click on those links. If you wish to avoid a link to any existing user account, you must log out before your visit to our website.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing them other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP-address, that your Browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics, will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
