Zügel End-User License Agreement

Zügel MCP server version 26.1 and higher, and Zügel launcher version 1.0 and higher.

Last updated: 20 October 2026.

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between the individual or entity (hereinafter "licensee") and hello2morrow GmbH, Germany (hereinafter LICENSOR) related to the software program(s) licensee has downloaded or installed, through whichever of the channels named under "Distribution Channels". This license agreement applies to the software program(s) identified in the title of this license agreement, namely the Zügel launcher and every version of the Zügel MCP server it downloads, (hereinafter SOFTWARE), and all material (hereinafter MATERIAL) included with it. By installing, copying, or otherwise using this SOFTWARE, or by entering a license key into it, licensee agrees to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If licensee does not agree to the terms of this EULA, licensee may not install or use this SOFTWARE. This SOFTWARE is a proprietary product of LICENSOR and is protected under Copyright laws and international treaties. This SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold.

Grant of License

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, LICENSOR grants the licensee a non-exclusive, non transferable, non assignable and potentially license-fee bearing right to use the SOFTWARE or components of it according to the kind of license it obtained:

SOFTWARE is in "use" on a computer when it is loaded into RAM (i.e., temporary memory). The scope of functionality licensee is entitled to use of the SOFTWARE and the duration of the license is defined in the purchase order or contract. This Agreement will also govern any software upgrades provided by LICENSOR that replace and/or supplement the original SOFTWARE, unless such upgrades are accompanied by a separate license, in which case the terms of that license will govern.

Each time it starts, the Zügel launcher checks LICENSOR's version repository and automatically downloads and runs the newest version of the Zügel MCP server that licensee's license entitles it to, unless licensee has pinned a specific version. Licensee consents to these automatic downloads. Every version obtained this way is part of the SOFTWARE and governed by this EULA.

Distribution Channels

LICENSOR makes the Zügel launcher available free of charge through its website, its version repository, its public plugin repository on GitHub, and the plugin directories LICENSOR has submitted the SOFTWARE to, such as Anthropic's Claude directory. Copies made through the normal operation of these channels are permitted: downloading, installing, caching, synchronising between a user's own devices, and forking on GitHub. Any other redistribution of the SOFTWARE requires LICENSOR's prior written consent. Possessing a copy of the SOFTWARE does not grant any right to use it without a valid license key.

Prohibition of Use of the Software

  • Licensee must not use this SOFTWARE without a valid license key.
  • Licensee must not rent or lease this SOFTWARE to third parties.
  • Licensee must not redistribute this SOFTWARE except as permitted under "Distribution Channels".
  • Licensee must not use an evaluation license for commercial purposes like e.g. consulting services.
  • Licensee must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble this SOFTWARE.
  • Licensee must not remove or obliterate any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices of LICENSOR or of LICENSOR's licensors from the SOFTWARE.

Data Transmission

To validate the license, the SOFTWARE transmits the license key, the product name, version and build date, the operating system name and version, the operating-system user name and the network hardware (MAC) addresses of the computer to LICENSOR's license server at www.hello2morrow.com, or to the on-premises license server licensee has configured instead. To find and download server versions, the Zügel launcher requests files from LICENSOR's version repository at eclipse.hello2morrow.com. Both servers also receive the IP address the requests come from.

When it is started without a license key, the SOFTWARE requests a 30-day evaluation license from LICENSOR's license server. This request transmits the network hardware (MAC) addresses of the computer, which LICENSOR stores for one year so that a computer can evaluate the SOFTWARE only once.

The SOFTWARE analyses source code, architecture models and their results locally on licensee's computer. It never transmits them to LICENSOR or to any other party. How LICENSOR processes the data listed above and how long it keeps it is described in LICENSOR's privacy policy.

Protection and Security

Licensee acknowledges that the SOFTWARE contains valuable confidential information and trade secrets and that unauthorized use and/or copying and/or distribution are harmful to LICENSOR.

Copyright

All rights, title and copyright in and to the SOFTWARE (including but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text, and "applets" incorporated into the SOFTWARE), and any copies of the SOFTWARE, is owned by LICENSOR and is protected by Copyright laws and international treaty provisions.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated as follows. If the SOFTWARE licensed hereunder is only for time-limited use (e.g. as per definition in the purchase contract), then this agreement and all rights hereunder shall automatically terminate when the defined period of use expires. Unless LICENSOR receives full payment of the license fees or grants licensee a free license, this agreement will terminate within 30 days after the beginning of licensee's use of the SOFTWARE. Without prejudice to any other rights, LICENSOR may terminate this agreement if licensee fails to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. But termination by the LICENSOR can only occur, after LICENSEE does not properly reply to a written warning notice by the LICENSOR within 30 days. This notice can be sent via email to the LICENSOR contact email address associated with the license contract. Once this agreement is terminated, licensee shall stop to use the SOFTWARE and shall destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE and all its component parts. The LICENSEE may terminate this license at any time by doing so.

Warranty

Licensee assumes full responsibility for:

  • (a) the selection of the SOFTWARE;
  • (b) verifying the results obtained from the use of the SOFTWARE;
  • (c) reviewing changes that AI agents or other automated tools make to licensee's code on the basis of the SOFTWARE's output; and
  • (d) taking appropriate measures to prevent loss of data.

Licensor does not warrant that the operation of the SOFTWARE will meet Licensee's requirements or that Licensee will be able to achieve any particular results from use or modification of the SOFTWARE or that the SOFTWARE will operate free from error.

Warranty Disclaimer: TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND SUBJECT TO THE SECTION "LIMITATION OF LIABILITY", LICENSOR AND ITS RESELLERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY LICENSOR, ITS DEALERS, DISTRIBUTORS, AGENTS, OR EMPLOYEES SHALL IN ANY WAY INCREASE THE SCOPE OF THIS WARRANTY.

Customer Remedies

Subject to the section "Limitation of Liability", licensee's remedy for a defect of the SOFTWARE shall be, at LICENSOR's option, either

  1. repair or replacement of the SOFTWARE, or
  2. if repair or replacement fails, return of the license fees paid.

Limitation of Liability

LICENSOR is liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under any guarantee LICENSOR has expressly given, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).

For damages caused by slight negligence, LICENSOR is liable only if it breaches an obligation whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of this agreement and on whose observance licensee may regularly rely (cardinal obligation). This liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for this kind of agreement at the time it was concluded. Where the SOFTWARE is provided free of charge, such as under an evaluation license, LICENSOR is liable only for intent and gross negligence, without prejudice to the first paragraph of this section.

For loss of data, LICENSOR is liable only for the effort that would have been needed to restore the data had licensee taken appropriate backup measures. Apart from the cases above, LICENSOR's liability, and the liability of its directors, officers, employees and affiliates, is excluded.

Third-Party Licenses

Certain files, programs, and other materials distributed as external libraries in connection with the SOFTWARE may originate from third-party licensors and are licensed to licensee pursuant to the terms and conditions of the applicable licenses. Their license terms and notices are contained in the LICENSE, NOTICE and about files distributed inside the SOFTWARE's JAR files, and LICENSOR provides a list of them on request. If licensee intends to use these third-party licensed libraries in a different way than granted in the sections above then licensee agrees to carefully review and abide by the terms and conditions of the third-party licenses to the extent that they govern such files, programs, or other materials. Notwithstanding the foregoing, as between the LICENSOR and licensee, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and if not prohibited by any such third-party license, all such third-party files, programs, or other materials shall be deemed covered under sections "WARRANTY", "LIMITATION OF LIABILITY" and "GENERAL" of this agreement.

General

This Agreement supersedes all prior agreements between the parties and represents the complete and exclusive description of the license granted by LICENSOR to the end user of the SOFTWARE. Licensee also agrees that this Agreement is governed by German Laws. Each of the parties hereto irrevocably agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Germany and further agrees to commence any litigation, which may arise hereunder in the courts located in the judicial jurisdiction of Munich, Germany.
