To help the Java community in a challenging economic environment hello2morrow decided to create a free Community Edition of SonarJ. The Community Edition is the full product limited to projects with up to 500 internal classes (approx. 50 to 60 KLOC). This should already cover the majority of all Java projects. We also modified our pricing scheme, so that license prices are now linked to the size of your project. In fact SonarJ is now cheaper for all projects with up to 3,000 internal classes.
